Rhosygilwen Mansion Wedding | Rhi + Tom

Wedding photography from Rhosygilwen Mansion, Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire. There was much to love and enjoy about Rhi and Tom’s wedding at Rhosygilwen Mansion. Throughout the day, I was presented with so much to photograph and was greeted by one of the year's hottest days. It was my first wedding at Rhosygilwen, and I could not have asked for anything more. Rhi and Tom hosted such a fun and relaxed day that everyone could enjoy. They wanted the same approach to their photography as most people who book me: a relaxed and documentary approach.

It was my first wedding at Rhosygilwen, and I could not have asked for anything more. Rhi and Tom hosted a fun and relaxed day that everyone could enjoy. They wanted the same approach to their photography as most people who booked me: a relaxed and documentary approach.

Rhi and Tom chose to take full advantage of what Rhosygilwen has to offer by having both the ceremony and reception at the venue. This meant more time to enjoy with their loved ones, and no unnecessary stress could be caused by travel delays. The bonus to this arrangement was that their ceremony was held in stunning Orangery, possibly one of the venue's most unique and striking features. Located adjacent to the reception hall of Neuadd y Dderwen, it is a very convenient setup for any wedding.

The day began the usual way: some relaxed and composed morning preparations with the girls and the usual 10-minute collective dash with the boys! :) Tom and the boys (all rugby players) chose to get ready away from the venue, which meant there was an opportunity for a quick pre-ceremony rugby ball throw-about before heading over to Rhosygilwen. Rhi and the girls enjoyed a glass or two of bubbly at the mansion house before heading to the ceremony, just a two-minute walk away. The rest of the day is told through the images you see below. Please take a moment to scroll through them and enjoy this beautiful wedding story of Rhi & Tom at Rhosygilwen Mansion.

Buckland Hall Wedding | Carys + Steve

Wedding photography from Buckland Hall, Brecon Beacons. Last year was brilliant, photographing so many amazing weddings for many amazing couples. All of whom welcomed me into their lives, entrusting me with the honour of capturing the most important day of their lives. Undoubtedly, Carys & Steve gave us one of the warmest welcomes. Being able to instantly connect with them through our shared love of the great outdoors and travel made the perfect blend for a great rapport. Their love for the outdoors greatly influenced their chosen wedding venue. Set in the stunning countryside of Brecon Beacons, the venue of Buckland Hall was the perfect match for them.

Blessed with perfect weather and a mix of family and close friends. Their day had a cosy and relaxed atmosphere where everyone had a chance to unwind and enjoy. Even Jess, Carys and Steve's dog made a special guest appearance. She had her own space to let loose for a few games of fetch!

Here is the beautiful story of their special day and the stunning example of Buckland Hall wedding. A perfect wedding day for two amazing people, clearly made for each other! ;)

Thank you so much, Carys and Steve, for allowing me to be a part of your magical day!

Kind words from Carys & Steve.

Thank you so much for photographing our wedding at Buckland Hall on the weekend. You were AMAZING.....everything from your effort of visiting the venue before the big day to 'get a feel of the place', to our photos in the morning before the ceremony, the organisation but relaxed nature of the group photos, to our special 'couple' photographs. You did not stop throughout the whole day, and it never felt intrusive.... half the time, I didn't know you were there! We especially loved the little extras such as photos with our dog and 'just one more location' as you had found the perfect place! We had lots of fun during the photos, which I'm sure will show through! Cannot wait to see our photos and again want to say a massive THANK YOU.

We cannot recommend you highly enough. Love Carys and Steve xx

Gemma and Craig Gallivan’s Wedding

Gemma and Craig Gallivan's wedding at Corran Resort and Spa, Laugharne, Carmarthenshire. Must admit it’s not every day we receive an enquiry from someone with celebrity status. If you don’t know who Craig Gallivan is, then we highly recommend you check his Wikipedia page here. In a nutshell, his profile reads, a Welsh actor best known for playing Callum Watson in Footballers Wives, the ITV2 spin-off drama Footballers' Wives: Extra Time and more recently as Luke (Morris) Morgan in the Sky1 television comedy series Stella. In August 2018 took over in the lead role in the West End musical School of Rock, becoming the longest-serving Dewey in the show’s West End history. There is much more to read about Craig, but you get the picture!

Corran Resort Wedding | Catrin + William

Catrin and William's wedding at The Corran Resort & Spa was amazing! Despite the Welsh weather misbehaving for most of the day, there was everything to love about this wedding. They celebrated at one of my favourite local wedding venues, The Corran Resort & Spa near Laugharne. The day started with a difference and plenty of laughs when the boys, William and his groomsmen, braved the wind and rain, cycling from St.Clears to Laugharne. To top everyone else, William and best man even rode a tandem! Catrin and the girls certainly made the most of their morning, too. With a drop of bubbly, lots of pampering, and plenty of laughs throughout the morning preparations, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and could feel that we were in for a great celebration!

In addition to all the amazing decor, details, and everything else that Catrin and Will put into their wedding, the energy and vibe from all who attended made this wedding day so much fun to capture. We may have missed some outdoor photo opportunities due to the weather, but we certainly made up for things indoors when the evening celebrations kicked off!

Here are some of our favourite images from the story of Catrin & William's amazing wedding at The Corran Resort & Spa.

Didn't have much chance to get to know Gabriela and Wassim before the wedding because they both live in Dubai. But what I did know was that they were a great-looking couple who seemed very much in love. They also planned to get married at a venue that I’d always wanted to photograph. So, with all that considered, I knew we had the makings of a great day ahead of us.

Fast-forward a few months, and my predictions were just as we expected. Right from the moment we met, we were treated like old friends. Hugs, happiness, and high-fives all around! An air of excitement and a buzz seemed to radiate through everyone during the preparations. When we discovered that family and friends were travelling in from all over the world to celebrate, we knew this would be one wedding we wouldn't forget in a hurry.

Here are just a few of the many favourites and the story of their wedding celebration. Thank you both for allowing me to have the opportunity to capture such an amazing day with you all!
