“If you like my work, there’s a good chance you’ll like me too!”

As I’m sure you’ve realised, my name is Rich! I come to you from a place of love and integrity. I’m an optimist, a bit of a free spirit, and regard myself as someone as real as you can be. Hence, the business name - Real & Rich. It not only reflects me as a person but also my authentic style of photography.

I’m a dedicated Dad to my very own little warrior named Archie :) Like him, I enjoy nothing more than getting outside in nature (my happy place), riding mountain bikes, or hiking up some craggy hillside somewhere wild. Health, fitness, personal growth, and living life to the fullest sum up my interests without going into a lot of necessary detail. :)

I’ve studied and worked in many types of photography, including travelling the world on cruise ships, before settling on what I believe is the best genre ever: documentary wedding photography. This genre allows me to be a visual storyteller of love and truth and a documenter of good times—all captured in one epic day! I’ve kept things real in the wedding photography world since 2012 and don’t plan to change anytime soon.

Question: Is my photography a good match for you and your wedding?”

The only way to honestly answer that question is if you’ve taken the time to explore my Portfolio. Even if you’ve been recommended by a friend or family member (for which I’m incredibly grateful), I still encourage you to take the time to see if my work meets your expectations and not rely on someone else’s opinion. I’m not a traditional wedding photographer, and I don’t follow trends or copy what other wedding photographers do. My philosophy is to keep things simple and true to the moment while producing real, natural and timeless work.

Couples who book me tend to be people looking for more of a storytelling approach to their wedding photography. They want to remember the moments of their day as they were and without too much distraction or direction from their photographer. They don’t necessarily want too many traditional group photos or detailed photos and would rather have natural, candid images of their families and guests enjoying a day. They also want the freedom to enjoy their wedding day. If this sounds like your approach and you can appreciate the images in my Real Weddings section, then I’m probably a great match for you and your wedding.

Kind Words from Happy Couples.
