I pride myself on keeping the images natural, creative, and, above all, authentic. Your final images will accurately represent you and your wedding day. My style is to capture joyful, emotive, bright and vibrant images.

Timeless imagery.

I carefully edit and process every image. I do not outsource any of my work. Seventy-five per cent of my work is done after each wedding. Your images will be presented with a clean and timeless look. I avoid using fashionable filters or effects, as those inevitably become outdated.

12+ years of experience.

In my 12+ years as a professional wedding photographer, I have photographed over 200+ weddings. Before that, I studied and worked in commercial advertising photography and then spent 14 years working in social and portrait photography on cruise ships. Photography has been my passion and profession for much of my life.

Full-day coverage.

My standard coverage includes Bride and Groom (either or both) preparations until after the first dance. My goal is to capture the entire story of your day, so staying late to capture the party is always something I include. Because I work alone, it gives me greater flexibility to start earlier or stay later to provide you with your desired coverage.

Relaxed approach.

I take a friendly and unobtrusive approach to my coverage. Allowing me to tell the story of your day and give you time to enjoy it without turning it into a media production. Relaxed and drama-free is the way I like to be.

FAQs

How much do you charge?

Pricing starts at £1395 for full-day coverage, which includes twelve hours of coverage, image editing, high-resolution images on a USB drive, and a private online gallery.

I offer bespoke pricing for smaller, intimate weddings. Please get in touch with me via my Contact Page.

How do we book you?

To secure your date, please get in touch with me via my Contact Page to check my availability. I’ll email you back to you as soon as possible. I request a nonrefundable retainer of £200 and a completed booking form. I kindly ask the remaining balance be settled 14 days before the wedding.

Will there be an opportunity to meet you at some point?

Absolutely. It’s super important that couples have complete trust in me on the wedding day, so building a good rapport beforehand is in everyone’s best interests. We can arrange this before you make a booking or nearer your wedding date. Meeting in person or via video call works equally well.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

I’m currently based in Carmarthenshire and cover weddings throughout Wales and the southwest. Travel costs are included for weddings within a hundred-mile radius of SA32. Please get in touch with me for weddings outside that radius.

How long do you stay on the wedding day?

My coverage is typically around 12 hours. However, I am flexible if things run a bit behind schedule. I usually start 2 hours before the Bride leaves for the ceremony and 1 hour before the Groom leaves for the ceremony. Suppose you plan to have a band play immediately after your first dance; I'll wait until they have finished their first set. So, there is plenty of time to capture some interesting shapes on the dance floor!

We’re thinking about having photos done at a picturesque location. Do you offer this?

Yes, of course. However, depending on your ceremony time and the day's schedule, travelling will take up more of your day, which is not always ideal or possible. We can discuss this over a video call before booking or near the wedding date.

Do you photograph the traditional group photos that other wedding photographers do?

Yes, I realise the importance of these types of photos, although they're not the day's primary focus. I encourage couples to think about exactly how many group combinations they need. The more of these types of photos you include, the less time you have to relax and enjoy your day.

When will our photos be ready for viewing?

I'll send you a sneak peek of your wedding photos the day after so you have a few images to share and announce your wedding on social media. Your completed image gallery takes between 4 and 6 weeks during the off-peak season (December to March) and 6 to 8 weeks during the peak season. I spend many days selecting and editing hundreds of wedding images from each wedding, and this work quickly mounts up. I will always strive to get images to couples as soon as possible.

Do you offer a second photographer?

No, after many years of photographing weddings as part of a duo, I have realised that a second photographer is often unnecessary. An experienced and aware photographer (like myself) can outperform two inexperienced photographers. It’s all about knowing where to be at the right time, and you only learn that from years of experience and good communication on the day. Couples who book me as the sole photographer do so because of my work, not because they are getting two photographers.

We want both the Bride and Groom's preparations captured. Can you offer this?

Yes. Provided you are getting ready near each other or, better yet, at the same venue. We can discuss this over a video call before booking or near the wedding date.

Do we need to provide you with food on the day?

Thank you, but that’s not necessary. I always provide my own because it’s simpler for me and less costly and stressful for you. It means I don’t have to wait for the venue to remember to offer it—sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. I prefer to use that time better, like looking for locations for your evening photo session.

Do you offer video services?

No, I leave video coverage to videographers. That’s their profession, and I prefer to concentrate on my own. I'm happy to work alongside videographers and have some great recommendations I’m happy to share if needed.
